ISO/IEC 27001 is broadly regarded as the internationally recognised ‘gold standard’ for information security management. ISO/IEC 27001 provides a risk-based management system to assist businesses in protecting their personal data.
Achieving certification is now mandatory across many public and high-risk industries, it is often sought as a demonstration of commitment to information security, providing assurance for customers, clients, partners and investors.
The ISO/IEC certification improves your business reputation by demonstrating to your stakeholders that you have implemented a full Information Security Management System, giving you a competitive advantage over any competitors who are not certified
We offer a flexible service to all our clients where we supply a DPO to support you and your business. Each arrangement is based on your individual needs and budget.
All our DPOs are fully qualified and will advise you on how to comply with the legal and regulatory data protection requirements as set out by the UK/EU General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR), Data Protection Act (DPA) 2018, HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act), and the CCPA (California Consumer Privacy Act).
By appointing a DPO, your business can expect to achieve sustained compliance with regulatory frameworks, an increased cyber security maturity, improved reputation and a proactive risk management that mitigates legal and regulatory non-compliance.
We’re very proud to say that our clients often work with us for many years. Here’s some of the things that they have to say about working with us.”
The University of Brighton was urgently seeking an experienced CISO to develop and lead its cyber risk reduction strategy on an interim basis. Panoptic Cyber came to us with a great set of credentials and experience that were applied straight away.
Working with the University CIO, they quickly developed a cyber risk mitigation plan and a strategic roadmap to a robust permanent cyber security capability for the University. Panoptic Cyber led the implementation of the plan and roadmap, identifying and making the case for additional resources where necessary. They supported the CIO in establishing the University risk appetite and in making presentations on cyber risk to the University executive and Board of Governors. At the end of the contract, the University has implemented a new cyber security team, commenced a 24/7 SOC contract, and mitigated the key risks identified as part of the plan.
This was great work in a relatively short period starting from a low base, and I would have no hesitation in recommending Panoptic Cyber for similar work elsewhere.
With Panoptic we've been able to continue the development of our own quality and information security standards, alongside an experienced consultancy team to guide, advise and audit the work and it's progress.
The Panoptic team has been great, both in their professional conduct and flexibility in designing a consultancy programme that fits in with our schedule and requirements. The combination of professionalism, approachability and expertise has worked incredibly well for us over this past year. Knowing that you have a team working alongside you who are active in the field, up to date on the latest developments and who can support and guide your internal progress most definitely makes a positive impact when preparing for the audit process.
Panoptic Cyber specialist GDPR and Privacy Consultants were engaged to lead on the delivery of the group wide GDPR compliance strategy.
Throughout the engagement, Panoptic has continually role-modelled professionalism and demonstrated a wealth of in-depth technical knowledge, taking complex regulatory requirements and translating them into a robust, yet workable, privacy framework.
They exceeded delivery expectations, often stepping outside of the defined scope of work to support the Compliance and Risk function with privacy matters.
I cannot recommend the service provided by Panoptic Cyber highly enough and look forward to following their continued success.
